POLICIES <\/h2>\n

Training Dismissal Policy <\/p>\n

RoadCraft Motorcycle Academy is\ncommitted to providing effective safety education and training to each student\nwho enrolls in its courses. One student's inappropriate or disruptive actions\ncan impair our ability to maintain the quality of instruction to other students\nand their safety. The Academy, therefore, reserves the right to dismiss any\nstudent from further participation in any course of instruction for just cause.\nThe Academy also reserves the right to withhold any refunds or tuition's from a\nstudent whose behavior results in dismissal.<\/p>\n

A student may be dismissed from any\nclass or program of studies by the Instructor conducting such class for any of\nthe following reasons:<\/p>\n

1. Behavior\nwhich significantly disrupts the progress of the course of instruction or\nprevents the Instructor from providing adequate instruction to other students.
2. Excessively\nloud, rude, obscene or offensive dialogue or terminology.
3. Aggressive\nor threatening behavior towards the Instructor or any other student.
4. Abuse\nof Academy property or equipment, or that of any sponsoring organization or\nrented premises, where the course is other students conducted on Academy\npremises.
5. Horseplay\nor other deliberate action of an unsafe nature that jeopardizes the safety of\nstudents, Instructors, or staff members of RoadCraft Motorcycle Academy.
6. Unwanted\nadvances towards the Instructor, another student, or staff of a suggestive or\nsexual nature.
7. Bullying\nor harassment of another student, Instructor or staff member of RoadCraft\nMotorcycle Academy or any other organization where the courses are being\nconducted, whether directed at elements of gender, race, religion creed or\nability.
8. Consistent\ntardiness or absenteeism, which affects the student\u2019s ability to maintain an\nadequate standard or fulfill the required attendance criteria.
9. Any\nother cause of similar nature and impact as to justify dismissal for the\npreservation of good order and training or the protection of students,\nInstructors or staff, as may be determined by the Instructor in charge at the\ntime.\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n

Where a student is dismissed from\nany class, the following procedures shall apply:<\/p>\n

1. \u200bThe\nInstructor shall advise the student that he\/she is being dismissed from further\nparticipation in the class and the reasons for such dismissal.
2. The\nInstructor shall advise the student that a written report of the dismissal and\nthe reasons for it will be prepared and forwarded to the Academy\u2019s Supervisor\nof the specific program and the police or a regulatory agency, if and where\nappropriate.
3. The\nSupervisor shall review such reports in a timely fashion and determine what\nfurther actions may be necessary under the circumstances and what refunds of\ntuition may be made, if any.
4. The\nstudent will be notified, in writing, within 30 days of the Supervisor\u2019s\ndecision.
5. The\nstudent shall have the right to appeal the Supervisor\u2019s decision under the\nAcademy\u2019s Dispute Resolution Policy.\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n

Refund\/Cancellation and Transfer Policy<\/u>\n <\/p>\n

This\nrefund\/cancellation and transfer policy is designed to provide some flexibility\nfor our students while preventing lost enrollments and the cost of increased administration.\nIt can be very difficult to fill vacated enrollment spaces less than 14 days\nprior to a course start date.<\/p>\n

Course Transfers: <\/p>\n

1. Requests to transfer from one course to another\nwith less than (14) fourteen days' notice before your confirmed course start\ndate are subject to a transfer fee of $50 + applicable taxes.
2. Seven (7) days prior to your confirmed course start\ndate and after your course has commenced, transfers will no longer be\nconsidered, and the student will be liable for the entire course fee. \nAll transfer fees are non-refundable.\n <\/p>\n

Refunds:<\/p>\n

1. Cancellation\/refund requests made at least\nfourteen (14) days prior to the course start date will receive a full refund\nless $100 + applicable taxes. NO REFUND<\/span> will be issued after that date for any\nportion of the course.
2. Students who fail to attend and\/or notify us\nfourteen (14) days before the start of the scheduled course are liable for the\nentire course fee.
3. No refund will be given once the course has\ncommenced.
4. All refund requests must be in writing and submitted within\n60 days from the course commencement date.\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n

Course Rules<\/span>\n <\/p>\n

Motorcycle License: <\/p>\n

You are required to present your class 6 or class 8L driver's license at the begining of each training day.
\n No License = No Riding.
No Exceptions! \n <\/span>\n <\/p>\n

Arrive on time\u200b:<\/p>\n

Classes start on time. 
Lessons progressively buiuld on previous material, so if you arrive late, you may be sent home if you have missed too much material. Students are responsible for attending class and arriving on time. No refunds will be issued due to late arrival. \n <\/p>\n

Be Ready to Ride: <\/p>\n

Many students find our courses physically and mentally demanding, so arrive well rested and properly fed. Bring energy snacks and water. Do not consume alcohol prior or during the course. If our instructors feel anyone's safety is at risk due to you being inpaired, overtired, hungover or ill, you will not be premitted to contiune riding. <\/p>\n

Training Risks: <\/p>\n

Motorcycling is an inherently risky activity. Our courses are carefully structured and spervised in an effort to reduce risk, but this does not eliminate the risks you face. We make every effort to organize and operate courses in the safest manner possible. However, since students are physically controlling the motorcycles, we cannot eliminate risk. 
Students must accept this risk as a conditon of training. \n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n

\n Riding Gear Requirments<\/span>\n :<\/span>\n <\/p>\n

If you have any questions about wheather your riding gear will be suitable for our courses, please ask your instructor BEFORE your first day of riding. Students will not be allowed to ride in gear deemed unsafe by an instructor. Courses run rain or shine, so bring gear if there is any chance of rain. A change og clothes is also suggested if possible. <\/p>\n

1.Helmet<\/p>\n

Helmets and adequate eye protection must be worn at all times when riding on our courses. This includles all traffic, mock road tests and bike rentals. Helmets must fit snugly and fasten securely. Helmets must be certified by  a recognized standards organization and be in acceptable conditon to our instructors. \u200bHelmets must\nbe: Full-face, modular (flip front) or \u00be style. Half helmets are not allowed.\nNo student will be allowed to ride if any instructor deems his\/her helmet to be\nunsafe.
\n
We have full-face helmets to loan out if you need one, for parking lot riding only.<\/b>\n <\/p>\n

2. Jacket: <\/p>\n

Leather, Denim or Ballistic Nylon Jackets are required.
Jackets must be worn at all times while riding. Jackets must be fastened via buttons or zipper (No Snaps)
\n <\/p>\n

3. Pants: <\/p>\n

Heavy Denim, Leather or Ballistic Nylon riding pants that are long enough to cover the top of the riding boots - or truck inside. 
\n No skin or socks showing!<\/span>\n <\/p>\n

4. Boots: <\/p>\n

Leather boots that cover the ankle. Motorcycle-specific boots that cover the ankle but are not leather will also be acceptable. Laces must be tucked in.
\n No Leather High-Tops, \u200bConverse or \u200bCanvas runners. <\/span>\n <\/p>\n

5. Gloves: <\/p>\n

Full-fingered Leather gloves that cover the wrist are required. Gloves designed for motorcycles (street use) but made of other materials may also be acceptable.
\n Must be worn at all times while riding. <\/span>\n <\/p>\n

6. Eye Protection: <\/p>\n

Face shields or goggles are preferred, but glasses\/sunglasses will also be acceptable. Shatterproof lenses are highly recommended. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n
